Kaizen's wealth advisors, in their individual capacities, may also be licensed insurance agents with various insurance companies, and in such capacity, may recommend, on a fully disclosed commission basis, the purchase of certain insurance products. While Kaizen does not sell such insurance products to its investment advisory clients, we do permit our wealth advisors, in their individual capacities as licensed insurance agents, to utilize insurance products for our investment advisory clients. Auditing a client's current insurance products for appropriateness and determining insurance needs are significant parts of our planning process. Our advisors can provide solutions in the following insurance areas:
- life insurance including both term and permanent
- health insurance
- long-term care insurance
- disability insurance
- critical insurance
For other types of insurance such as health, homeowners, auto and umbrella coverage, your advisor will defer to outside experts and assist in integrating/coordinating your coverage within your financial plan.
